Below you will find the temporary event protocol for events at UvA (in Dutch). Questions regarding organizing events? Ask email@example.com.
From 25 September 2021 onwards the 1.5-metre measure will be withdrawn. This means that in the Agnietenkapel 90 people can be present (incl. candidate, paranymphs and doctorate committee), in the Aula 450 people can be present.
People do not have to wear a facemask anymore in the Aula and Agnietenkapel.
Are you a PhD candidate or otherwise involved in a doctorate? If you have any questions, you might be able to find an answer to these in the frequently asked questions. Do also feel free to get in touch with the Office of the Beadle by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
It is possible to organize a graduation ceremony. Starting 25 September, these can take place without corona related restrictions.
Each faculty or programme will have the option to choose online alternatives. For questions, get in touch with your specific Student Service desk.
Catering is available for all locations except Aula and Agnietenkapel. Place an order for catering at OrderDirect.
For questions, help or advice concerning the planning, organisation, execution or cancellation of events, you can contact UvA Conferences & Events: email@example.com.
Now that we are allowed on campus again (in a limited capacity), more offline activities and gatherings are possible - if approved by your faculty's Head of Operations. Events should comply with with the rules set by the UvA Kader Activiteiten voor studieverenigingen.
Keep in Touch
Perhaps you're already familiar with the Keep in Touch-campaign because your study association has already organised an activity via Keep in Touch earlier in the year. Study associations could apply for a budget for social activities earlier in the year by sending in great ideas. At that time, mainly online activities were organised such as an online yoga and an online silent disco party.
Now, a new round of Keep in Touch has started with slightly altered conditions and with the possibility of organising more online activities. To celebrate all study associations can apply for the Keep in Touch fund once again. Ask your study association how you can submit an idea together and check out the Keep in Touch page for the application form and conditions.
