The Office of International Student Affairs (BIS) is the central international office of the UvA and is situated at the Roeterseiland Campus, Building J/K (2nd floor), Valckenierstraat 65-67, Amsterdam.
The office provides support and oversight for various aspects of international student affairs.
It oversees and manages global student mobility, facilitates (international) student engagement including the award-winning student exchange ambassador programme, administers and disburses student scholarships and loans and collaborate with academic units and faculty international offices to cultivate and build strategic partnerships and collaborations around the world.
In an effort to mitigate the risk of transmission of the Covid-19 virus in our community the Office of International Students Affairs is working remotely until (at least) summer 2021 and their services have moved online.
The Office of International Student Affairs would like to celebrate its 50th anniversary with you. Not only by telling you about our story. But foremost, by asking you for yours. So, we cordially invite you to share it with us!
