Please note: for a meeting with more than 2 persons, there is a limit of 40 minutes.
Zoom is an online collaboration environment, intended for audio and video meetings and live chat. As a student, you can meet with fellow students or tutors in Zoom and work on group assignments.
By default you can have a meeting with 300 people at the same time.

No, we don't have a license for Webinars.
When you log in via uva-live.zoom.us, your account is automatically added to the setup license.
The shortest way is via the browser. Log in to the Zoom environment at https://uva-live.zoom.us/.
Go to your Profile and you will see "Licensed" next to User Type.
You do not need a VPN to use Zoom. If you need files that are on your personal or public disk, you will of course need a VPN.
Log in via uva-live.zoom.us and click 'sign-in'. You will then log in automatically via your UvAnetID.
