This year, you won’t be able to attend any busy on-campus events with lots of people. But our online Open House is the perfect way to get to know UvA study programmes and university life from the comfort of your own home. Every study programme has an Open House page with videos, FAQs and live events. On the main Open House website you can discover all our programmes, explore the city and campus, and get inspired during our theme weeks.
This Master’s programme is highly competitive. A restricted number of students is accepted to the programme every year. Eligible candidates will be selected based on the ranking criteria specified in the Entry requirements on the Application and Admission page.
Due to an enormous increase in interest and applications in the Master’s programme Artificial Intelligence, we do not offer a pre-Master’s programme.
The Master's programme Artificial Intelligence is a full-time programme and does not offer a part-time programme. However, it is an option to take half of the courses normally offered per year, resulting in the programme lasting four years instead of two. Normal full-time tuition fee applies in this case.
Normally distance education is not offered as students need to attend lectures and practicals in order to complete the programme successfully. Due to COVID-19 in the academic year 2020-2021 part of the education is offered online.
