Macroeconomics: International and Monetary Economics

Are you interested in globalisation, emerging economies and international trade? If so, consider this minor. In this minor you set out to thoroughly analyse phenomena such as economic growth, unemployment and inflation and the design of and challenges to budgetary and monetary policies.

With this knowledge you can understand and evaluate current theoretical and factual developments in the (world) economy. When you have completed this minor, you will be able to participate in and contribute to economic policy discussions. After this minor you will have a major advantage when seeking employment in the public sector, in private corporations, NGOs and international organisations.
